This year's FCA MS Leadership Camp was held June 2-5 at Belhaven University. It was an incredible time of competition, learning and worship for the 162 middle and high school campers, 50 staff and huddle leaders, and 30 volunteers and guests who attended. The theme this year was Game Changer, and was based on Acts 2:36-47. Our camp chaplains this year were FCA's own Mark and Krisi Boren, District 4 Area Director and Administrative Assistant. Each night, they presented inspiring and compelling messages centered around the topics of having a pure love for God, living the dreams that he has put in our hearts, and eliminating the things in our lives that are keeping us from loving God whole-heartedly and fulfilling the calling on our lives.The buzz surrounding the messages each night was dynamic.
During the week of camp, 44 students made One Way to Play commitments, promising to abstain from drugs and alcohol. Eighteen recommited their lives to Christ, and seven people made first time commitments for Jesus Christ to beome to Lord and Savior.
